About Us at B B French Antiques

Bev and Gavin Burling have been furnishing homes throughout NZ for 35 years and have been importing from France and the UK for all of that time.
They opened as Sanson Antiques in 1994, at the present site in Sanson on the main intersection of State Highway 1 and State Highway 3. In 2008 the business name was changed to B. B. French Ltd. Antiques.

Previously the couple retailed from their vintage cottage in Levin, followed by Godfrey Bowens old Agrodome on SH3 in Levin, then a further 8 years on the outskirts of Levin SH1.

Bev and Gavin visit Europe at regular intervals and hand-pick items to suit their customers. Their strategy is to source authentic quality pieces from France and England which can be placed as signature pieces in both period and contemporary settings.

“We trust that you will enjoy perusing our site – and we are always pleased to advise and assist you to find items of grace and beauty.”
